Yoga styles I teach

  • Yin Yoga

A more yielding and passive practice. Yin Yoga is quiet and simple, yet not easy. Expect to hold streches for long periods of time and let gravity bring you closer to the earth. Having its origins in Taoism it is a practice that allows you to be in harmony with the rhythm and flow of nature (the essence of Taoist attitude).

A slow-paced practice that targets our connective tissues (bones, ligaments, joints, deep fascia, cartiledge). Yin Yoga helps to find lost mobility, stimulates the flow of energy within the body and removes all emotional blockages.

You will cultivate the ability to live in the present moment, to deeply explore what’s actually happening right now. You will leave feeling more centered, balanced and whole.

  • Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga brings stillness into the mind through physical movement. Expect a fluid and dynamic practice where you link your breath to your movements. A traditional Indian practice originated by Krishnamacharya’s teachings, that recognizes the temporary nature of things. We enter into a posture (asana), stay there for a while and then leave.

Each class is unique and has a different objective. Ideal for people that can’t easily focus and need to be stimulated to find stillness in the mind. Vinyasa’s asanas strengthen, purify and give flexibility to the body. You’ll raise your consciousness and leave feeling energized and present.

  • Power Yoga

Power Yoga is about working hard, sensitively. Expect a dynamic and thorough flow with simple and basic movements. Created in California by Bryan Kest, it’s a strong and physical practice which focuses on body-awareness.

The classes are inclusive and accessible as they’re all about empowering yourself and reaching your own limits.

It helps you develop strength and stability of the body. You will leave feeling empowered and present.
